For years, we watched people walk into salons carrying more than overgrown roots or dry ends. They carried exhaustion. Expectations. The weight of being everything for everyone. Somewhere along the way, many of them had forgotten the simple truth that they were allowed to feel beautiful for themselves — not for a role, not for a moment, but for their own spirit. Rooted & Thryve was created to change that. We envisioned a space where beauty wasn’t rushed or transactional, but restorative. A place where you could exhale, settle in, and feel seen without having to explain yourself. A place where the experience wasn’t about transforming you into someone new, but guiding you back to the person you’ve always been. CANCELLATION POLICY
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest, all appointments require both a paid deposit and client confirmation. Appointments without a completed deposit and confirmation are not secured and do not reserve a place on the schedule. If you need to adjust your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in your deposit being forfeited as the cancellation fee. No‑shows will result in your deposit being forfeited as the cancellation fee, and a new deposit will be required to book future appointments. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to modify their service or reschedule. If rescheduling is necessary due to lateness, it will be treated as a same‑day cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited as the cancellation fee. All deposits are non‑refundable, and a new deposit will be required to secure any future appointments. Thank you for respecting these policies. Your cooperation helps us maintain a calm, timely, and high‑quality experience for every guest.

Ammie’s gift has always been her ability to uncover solutions that others might overlook. Whether it’s a creative technique, an unconventional approach, or an experimental process tailored to a client’s unique challenges, she meets every person with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to helping them see themselves with new confidence. Her chair has long been a place where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to embrace their own beauty. This same heart‑centered philosophy is what led her to become the Founder and President of Cuts of Courage, where she now channels her experience into serving children facing crisis or trauma. Her belief remains the same—every person, no matter their story, deserves to feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are.

Greenleigh is vibrant, spunky stylist who brings fresh energy, fearless creativity, and a nonstop thirst for new education to everything she does. Known for her fun personality and her love of experimenting with the latest techniques, she’s the one clients turn to when they want something bold, modern, and uniquely tailored to them. But her passion doesn’t stop at trends. She’s driven by a deep desire to grow—personally, professionally, and in the way she serves her community. Always pushing herself to be more, learn more, and elevate her craft, she approaches every challenge with curiosity and a commitment to excellence. That same drive is what led her to take on the role of Vice President of Cuts of Courage, where she plays a pivotal part in expanding opportunities for youth in the beauty industry. She has spearheaded the development of the Cuts of Courage Scholarship Program, a mission‑driven initiative designed to ensure that aspiring beauty professionals—especially those facing hardship—have access to the education and training they deserve. Whether she’s behind the chair creating trend‑forward looks or behind the scenes building pathways for future stylists, she shows up with heart, hustle, and a belief that growth is always worth chasing. Greenleigh doesn't follow trends. She shapes the future—one client, one idea, and one opportunity at a time.
